During the cleaning process of sandblasting machine, Sandblasting pipe Sometimes there will be blockage or unsmooth discharge, and the reasons are as follows:
1. The proportion of abrasive and compressed air is improper. The main reason is that the abrasive valve is too open and the mixing ratio is too high. Some people think that the cleaning efficiency will be higher if more abrasive is sprayed, which is wrong, because high mixing ratio will reduce the working pressure.
2. The vertical conveying distance of abrasive in the sandblasting hose is too long, and the airflow velocity of large abrasive particles is not enough to deposit in the sandblasting hose, and the sandblasting hose will be blocked as time goes on.
3. Abrasive quality problem. The abrasive should have a correct particle size distribution range. The upper limit of the size of the abrasive particles cannot exceed a certain value, and the lower limit cannot be lower than a certain value. If there are a large number of particles larger than the specified upper limit in the abrasive, the speed of the large particle abrasive in the sandblasting pipe will be lower than that of the small particle abrasive, and the large particle abrasive in the sandblasting hose will accumulate more, leading to the blockage of the sandblasting hose.
4. The abrasive accumulated in the sandblasting pipe is affected with moisture. If the metal abrasive accumulated in the sandblasting hose is rusted and caked after being affected with damp, the problem will not be solved easily.
Once the sand blasting hose is blocked, the block removal valve on the sand blasting machine can be used to remove the blockage, as follows:
Remove the nozzle, close the abrasive valve, close the drain valve, open the air source, open the drain valve at a faster speed (usually the ball valve), and then close it. Open it again, close it again, repeat several times.
1. Reduce the pressure regulating valve to reduce the sand production of abrasive.
2、 Sandblasting pipe It should not be too long, within 1.5-3 meters.
3. When purchasing abrasive, choose the abrasive with uniform particle size and avoid sand mixing.
4. The added abrasives must be dried. If the abrasives are wet accidentally, they must be dried before being added to the sandblasting machine.
