Peristaltic pump Extruded tube The manufacturer tells you that some users use the peristaltic pump. Even though they have just heard of this product, they think it is similar to the commonly used pump, but in fact it is not. This is a different device. Peristaltic pump can also be said to belong to a kind of pump, but its working form is different. Now we will introduce the difference between peristaltic pump and water pump.
The peristaltic pump manufacturer tells you the difference between the two:
The usage scenarios are different. If you need to fill a pool or irrigate a large cubic tank, you can use a pump. Their main application is efficiency. On the contrary, in some industries, such as laboratories, pharmaceuticals and medical peristaltic pumps, small flow and J transmission are mainly used for precision.
The peristaltic pump manufacturer tells you the concept of peristaltic pump:
Peristaltic pump, also known as constant flow pump, is a new type of industrial pump. It is the product of modern industrial development, widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries, and transports some sensitive, viscous, strong corrosive, abrasive, high-purity and granular materials. The rubber hose is an important part of the peristaltic pump. The working mode of the pump is to extrude the rubber hose with rollers or pressure blocks. This means that the pump can run dry, self-priming and handle high viscosity, high wear media. In addition, as a unit, the rubber hose makes the pump body not need to be sealed, so it is completely leak free and very sanitary. And a fixed flow is output every revolution, which makes the application of the peristaltic pump quantitative feeding prominent. This principle is applicable to all peristaltic pumps. The pump head and drive components are important factors to distinguish the quality of peristaltic pumps.
Principle and concept of peristaltic pump, i.e. hose pump
Just as the repeated contraction and relaxation of muscles can make blood flow in blood vessels, the peristaltic pump works through the pumping efficiency generated by several rollers alternately squeezing/releasing along the elastic tube. The squeezed fluid in the pipe produces a flow output. When the pressure disappears and the pipeline recovers through its own elasticity, the volume increases, vacuum is generated, and the fluid is sucked in. This continuous action is the working principle of peristaltic pump.
Squeeze pipe of peristaltic pump The fluid is pumped by alternately squeezing and releasing the flexible delivery hose of the pump. Just like squeezing the hose with two fingers, with the movement of the fingers, negative pressure is formed in the pipe, and the liquid flows with it. The peristaltic pump is a "pillow" fluid formed in a section of pump pipe between two rotating rollers. The volume of the "pillow" depends on the inner diameter of the pump pipe and the geometric characteristics of the rotor. The flow depends on the product of three parameters: the speed of the pump head, the size of the "pillow" and the number of "pillow" generated by each revolution of the rotor. The size of the "pillow" is usually constant (except when pumping fluids with very high viscosity). Compared with pumps with the same rotor diameter, pumps with larger "pillow" volumes will deliver larger fluid volumes per revolution of the rotor, but will also produce larger pulsations. This is similar to the case of diaphragm valves. For the "pillow" pump with small volume, the fluid volume transported by its rotor per revolution is also small; In addition, small "pillows" formed rapidly and continuously make fluid flow more stable. This is similar to the case of a gear pump.
