When the solubility of some kind of liquid and the hose of peristaltic pump is uncertain, the soaking test must be carried out:
Take a section of sample tube, record its net weight, diameter, length and other main parameters, and infiltrate the sample tube into a closed vessel filled with liquid for at least two days.
Take down the sample tube, clean it with cold water, dry it, measure its net weight, diameter and length accurately again, observe the change, and check whether the plastic hose is loose or brittle.
If there is any change, the plastic hose is subject to the organic chemical hazard of the drug, that is, the plastic hose is incompatible with the liquid.
